Well out of the ordinary, the Brookstone BBQ tool is an enormous device as multitools go. Housed within a fabricated block of stainless steel are three folding implements, any one of which weighs more than a typical pocket tool. The manufacturer's website claims it was designed in United States and produced in China.

Handle/Frame
The handle is formed from a sheet of heavy stainless, folded on four sides into the shape of a rectangular block. Surface finish is brushed, with the Brookstone logo laser etched into one face.

Locking Mechanism
None of the blades lock open.
Other Features
An analog meat thermometer is housed in one end of the handle. It is removable, with a spike that is 5" long. (125mm) The thermometer is calibrated up to 220 degrees F.
