Unlike the Shotgun Tool, the Beretta Pistol Tool does not have a host of features specifically suited towards firearms. As a matter of fact, it seems to be a rather ordinary, made-in-China multitool. Construction is better than most imports, although nowhere near American or European standards. Size is equivelent to a Leatherman Super Tool. |
Jaws
Standard semi-needlenose profile, with fine serrations to the tips. Curiously, there is no coarse serrated gripping area in the middle portion of the jaws as is common. Instead, there is a flat section of non-serrated surface.
Also unusual is the anvil-type wire cutter down near the pivot.
Handles/Frame
Handles on the Pistol Tool are folded channels of stainless steel, reminiscent of early Leatherman tools. A large BERETTA logo and crest are laser etched into each side.

- combination large screwdriver/cap lifter
- combination medium screwdriver/can opener
- three-sided file blade

- full 1/4" hex bit driver, with magnet. The bit driver locks open at both 90 and 180 degrees.
