Solingen Germany, Seki Japan, and Sheffield England were well known as the centers of the cutlery industry in their respective countries. In the late 1800's and early 1900's, knives from Sheffield were the world standard for quality. Grand old masters like Joseph Rodgers, John Watts, and George Wostenholm (among many others) were household names. The Sheffield cutlery industry has since fallen on hard times due to world economies and restrictive carry laws. Today we are unaware of any multitools built in the U.K.
